1. Export a read-only snapshot
Open Assistant bridge from the left sidebar. Choose the named current view context, then select Copy AI context. This generates a compact flowplanner-context/v2 JSON snapshot containing both the selected data and the instructions the AI must follow. Copying never changes the planner.
2. Give an AI the right instruction
Paste that snapshot into the AI of your choice, then describe your intent in plain language. The snapshot contains the exact schema, allowed IDs, fields, enum values, coordinate units, and examples. The reply must be only valid JSON in the form {"schema":"flowplanner-proposal/v1","actions":[...]}. Example: “Turn this branch into the next practical milestones. Keep every action inside the copied scope.”
3. Give a project agent a readable map
Use Refresh agent handoff once, then give an agent data/flowplanner-agent-handoff.md plus the folder for the project it is helping. This readable snapshot is project-neutral: it works for a game, product, research project, or personal plan. The agent should not edit saved plan data directly; it can work in the FlowPlanner UI when available, or return a focused reviewable proposal through this bridge.
4. Bring the proposal back for review
Copy the AI’s JSON reply into Proposed changes in Assistant bridge, then choose Review proposal. Flow Planner validates each action before displaying a plain-language list. Invalid IDs, unsupported actions, bad status values, and malformed JSON are rejected before anything changes.
5. Apply only after checking it
Read the review list. Choose Apply changes only when every listed action is wanted. Applying creates one immediate Undo step, so Undo reverts the whole accepted proposal. Cancel simply discards the pending proposal.
Privacy and external connections
The AI bridge is a manual handoff: Flow Planner does not contact an AI service itself. You choose what you paste and which provider receives it. The team email account in Preferences is stored on the FlowPlanner server; its password is encrypted there, never saved in the plan, and never sent back to the browser. Reminder emails only go to team members.
